went for Christmastide Sunday just now w malu, we left ze house at 10 and got there early so were wandering around aimlessly, till 1030 when the Sanctuary bells were ringing so we went in. sang here i am to worship again! =D haha then pastor fred tan (tan?) was like "instead of going for all those wild parties at sentosa or vivo ah, why dont you come here tonight instead!" then alena also encourages thy to go church tonight, so yep. am going! 1045 holy communion watchnight service at brmc! couldn find collin (still at home semi-partying lol, thusly had decided to do evening service today) so took bus back to serene and mom picked me up then decided that we should drop his present off at his place so - "you came here?!" haha then the adults started talking about the usual house problems, moving in of new furniture, and the stuff that we teenagers do during sleepovers haha :D

watched death note 2 this week w yingming! hahah cause we watched death note 1 last time togthr also. was super sad at e end kuz ryuzaki decided to sacrifice his life, like ym said it wld have been better if he opted for himself to die 50 years later instead of giving himself a two week lifeline or smth ): so he flopped at th end. well at least light died too. haha sounds sadist but - ! (twill be interesting to call yr twin son dark and yr twin daughter light manx) ze way which L was licking his lolly on e chair (backwards in L fashion) and then fell over was super cute pls. and his baby toy mask! my fav part was when he was cozying up to the gothic bimbo misa amane :D (faking it, but a rly good fake!)

(: & ohyes, one of my death notes is now used as a diary for next yr, (whats left of this yr haha. 7 hours only) am trying to avoid writing anyone's name inside but thus far that goal died spectacularly.

this year huh. i guess all of us pretty much changed alot, learnt alot about ourselves, friends and family. & got to know new people! (: haha alena, china gang!, ldpians, etc etc, like i said, got to know and understand friends and family more, and deeper. and this year got mom to allow me to do lots of stuff - releasing my number finally to muchly greater convenience, go to church regularly (now it seems! :D) and going out like nonstop during e hols til i nv do hw alr. (: so hope next year will be filled w lots of goodness, faith&hope&love, fun times, fantastic moments&memories, new experiences&lessons for everyone! and (quotes from memory of devotional) that He will always provide us w ever more surprises, and that we shall keep a watchful eye out for them so we can recognise them! =D

so 2006 has been awfuh great, we all know 2007 will be even more of a rawker yeah? (: haha am in a flying mood for random dedications - even to people who dont read! cause its really worth getting stuff youve wanted to say out here.

yep christmas is definitely like among my favourite festive seasons of ze year. (: w all e cheer, gift-giving (& you cant deny it, gift receiving), snowy holidays (abroad only please), kids screaming in joy over the new bicycle in the backyard, smiles on people's faces!, & (quoting, its a lovely line) us humans forgetting all our conflicts just to come together on this veh brilliant day of the year, in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ ;D

so dr lim invited mom&i for the gleneagles hospital festivities. was rather reluctant to go at first, kuz thought it would probably be like all adults and no teenagers :/ but in the end, it turned out teh australian grandkids tara and richard would be there too. so was muchly better, we hung around talking countries, songs ("do you understand what she's singing [cantonese song]"), translating chinese to english for them, etc (: and abit of photowhoring (tara's cam-shy lol) the adults got briefly high and were poking us teenagers w personal questions =X aunty lynette was trying to look at my camera or smth, and aunty doris poked richard so hard he was forced to ask for "16 year old asian contacts for recommendation" oO makes it sound like some escort house or smth. then karaoke-ing (how to spell?) outside gave tara&richard&i a goodgood excuse to runaway quickly.

:D & outside guess who i saw - aunty patricia (coll's mom) haha she was super surprised luh, so was i. walked past her and was like oO (thinking, you look VERY familiar) then "OH. HELLO." almost e same reaction from her, except she saw my mom alr. anyways she was like rly bored so brought her to e back room where tara&i were goofing around so she could chat and stuff. talked about rly random behind-the-door topics for awhile (HA im well informed now), and then she was tempted to offer me champagne haha even though my mom was like nonono kuz she was afraid i would overdrink again teehee. (;

and then yesterday oO grandma wanted to go to a chinese christian service. but lighthouse evangelism only has a 9.00 am mandarin service, and that was like wayy too early kuz that would mean tiffany would have to lead e way. then mom made a deal w me, which is like kind of a great christmas present (kuz she's so touchy about me going to church for hours D:) - that i can go to a nearby church regularly during e hols and maybe during school days provided there arent any tests (which i dont agree w kuz we actually need Him the most at those times, and all the more we should be in church! D:) im working on wangling my way out of that part.

ladeeya. must thank grandma. if not for her, all this new arrangements wouldn have come about would it now? (: plus she told my mom to better (translated) 'let the child (COUGH) go to church regularly' cause it was good for me etc etc. yayers ((:

so mom asked me to go try out BRMC (barker rd methodist church, & ive a feeling aunty pat has smth to do w this, kuz she mentioned it at dr lim's parteh, so everything's connected and spore is rly small then) & if i liked it i could continue at BRMC permanently? ((: joy - finally a permanent church service to attend. so went yesterday (christmas eve yo) for e 1030 am service. mom accompanied grandma to the mandarin service then malu (who actually wanted to go to a cathedral, but decided its okay to go to a Christian church) & i went off to english service, but so kuku went to e adult service at the Sanctuary instead of Shine Forth (youth service) which was at e acs concert hall :/ no wonder i noticed everyone there was an average age of 30. so after it was over, went to inquire and check out Shine Forth -

& bumped into collin. wont say who was more surprised ((: (technically him, he'd no idea, i had some vague idea at least) malu saw him first -

me: oh that person ah. i know i saw his shirt juz now, same one from china, but he looks different eh.

then trotted down e steps as he spun around then boom. was really him :/ hahaha oops. then i told mom and she was like oO so there was aplenty of "what are you doing here?", "ohmy youre here too!" and "how come you didn tell me you were coming? oO" (i did okay, tried to) etc. well this confirms life has strange kooks to it! =D anyways ive been koped to brmc now from lighthouse - mom likes it this way. conspiracy of the mothers

lala then tara&richard, aunty lynette&doris, uncle poh&keith all came over to celebrate christmas (; haha we were playing strange ball games in e pool (use the harder tweety bird ball :D to hit ea other on ze head as hard as possible so youre supposed to duck really fast LOL) and we had crepes w cranberries for dessert, but all three plates disappeared in under five minutes =D so had to stagger off to theatre to watch pirates two: dead man's chest (ohyeah, johnny depp is luhv)

anyways. opened all e christmas presents at 12 smth! (: ta&rich gave a HUGE box of jellybeans, like 750 beans inside please! (shall bring some to school on first day so we jellybean doods can eat happy) and teh eggs gave two veh cute matching christmas mugs! plus some others i opened days before (unintentionally believe me), mom opened her patients' gifts. hahaha ive almost finished e godiva chocolates so no wonder the scales are beginning to increase slowly =/

& then today! goodness mom woke up so late we were rather late for church, arrived at about 1045 am. not good luh ): told mom it kind of stinks to be late, esp for christmas service! so next time if she isn ready by 1015 im calling a cab down to brmc. hmm anyways we were cruising along near dunearn rd when a guy in e car in front of us stuck his head out and waved rather animatedly - then i realised it was julian (heart attack manz) :D haha super dangerous luh couldve removed his head entireleh. so both of us were late for service =/ not good. & obv coll didn have the oO surprised look anymore.

hahaha well e Christmas service rawked, focusing of course on Jesus. and we were singing away - lovely ol christmas songs and hillsong (here i am to worship! =D & shout to the lord) ze pastor keeps going like "i know, my name is noel" and all the connections to first noel etc etc (: teehee to sum it up - today was fun, really refreshing. and service was supposed to end at 12, but stretched all e way to 1. but yeah, its christmas - it doesn matter.

lol mom went for adult service so she ended at 12, and spent rather long mooching around and eating&drinking in e canteen. so when aunty pat&jul&i made our way down, she was like rly bored :/ hung around talking, exchaging e "MERRY XMAS!" greetings, and e mothers agreed we should get together one more time before school reopens. haha then jul took out his sweets and biscuits (yay) so e dying-of-hunger me was like koping alot (and completely ignoring e hints to stop) -apologies. hahaha cannot wear skirt to e concert hall, was so cold i was shivering trembling all over when pastor noel goh asked us all to please stand.

yay then christmas dinner w grandma, uncle dp&aunty suan. ytd stayed up so late to watch miami vice, today was like the banquet w zhang ziyi (ziyi zhang, whichev way you wanna put it) oO some rather disturbing scenes but anyways! rather fun movie. (: haha we photowhored around in santa claus hats bought a gazillionaire years ago. poohbear hat looked a bit retarded (i wasnt wearing it) but was much enjoyment luh :D well hey its christmas!

ALENA! have fun in hk&malaysia, say hello darlings & throw kisses galore to donald duck and mickey mouse for us all, and bring back dimsum and chewing gum for us ((: and be glad ive found a church to go to for sure and permanents sake! :D & jiawei owes us smth from batu pahat (translation please) johore too yo.

((: hahaha this year is like teh bestestest ever! well, this holiday anyways, ignoring e rather glaring fact that about 95% of e holiday school homework remains blissfully undone but whtv. for now =P haha mom took me to a private dinner party thing at top of the M on 18 dec night, then we got home at like half hr before midnight, bursting to bits teehee. kuz we ate like lamb rack, three crepes (sodden w liquor zomg), french onion soup (: & a lovely ol durian cake. & kuz yes we were at ze top of e hotel, e whole restaurants was rotating slowly (not enough to notice, except when you suddenly notice ngee ann city appears to be moving (or are you?) and when e motor underneath acts up a little and vibrates e entire floor) so was watching and counting how many times we passed e back of meritus mandarin's huge sign, esp when e conversation gradually turned to adult talk of business and _______ (oO bored stiff but yes nvm)

yes anyways. 19 dec ((: mom was like popping three party poppers for fun, then i was damn scared and didn want to pull e thing so mom was like "hey dont be such a mouse." hahaha so i closed my eyes and yanked and boom. haha peer parental pressure. well hey last time i popped those things (goodness knows how long!) it exploded into my hand. got sparks :/ so popper-phobic now. teehee.

okay well. hahaha teh alena beloved took us&her church friends to fuji ice to have a rawking afternoon. and treated me to pastamania before that! lol spastic was supposed to meet at westmall but went to jurong east mrt instead so had to mrt back a stop to bukit batok! (oh yes another pro about this holiday, i learnt some stops and lines of e mrt routes yayers. :D) and then alena forced me to eat lettuce. :/ four leaves of it. w tartar. haha at least that made mom happy.

was so good to step on e ice after like ten thousand years but like they said, you nv forget how to cycle, so yes. was able to balance better than i last rmbred. but nearly fell down a few times! (hahaha alena your attempts to make me fall dieded until - the last minute D:) haha her church friends are cute! (marilyn in ze pastel green outfit!) teehee then ezra the showoff w leeshin's hairstyle kept zooming in randomly between us or under our linked arms :X close casualties yo. and goodness. people two years our junior are hugely tall - danielle zomg. but yes.

and then in ze last minute someone crashed into uhleenarh, and knocked her down methinks. well ze ice was slippery. &wet. and kuz we happened to be holding on to ea other, i landed on teh arse on a clump of veh wet (1 inch of water) ice, HARD. but after 36 hours now can sit down properly alr. wet jeans. :X and that was yes, literally e last minute, kuz after that had to go off alr. ): but yay had fun! haha alena: lets go vivo on 31 dec to shop for prom dress then after that go to siloso beach party or e countdown concert at vivo itself. yes anyway. then yesterday. overslept luh! :X supposed to go to fuji (again) at like 1130 but woke up at 1145 kuz malu was like "eh jayne wake up julian called 3 times." but then it turned out jasmine&julian&i (hahaha the three j's w smth in common) all overslept, collin (odd one out) woke up earlier and went for some 5 km run. so we were all at home. after lots of talking, finally got a headstart, so went to jul's to pick him up (coll went to meet friends for lunch first) and then jasmine from newton mrt (yes we took a rather big 90-angled turn, as jul said, not U turn) and watched jul stuffing his&coll's socks into (uh) ski gloves they intended to wear at fuji oO

hahaha met jasmine's clsms at fuji, so went in (unlimited time!) but jul&i were feeling rather extra, so we skated around ourselves first. hahaha kept poking him (or he claims i was pushing him w e force of a rhino, but i maintain it was e force of santa's reindeer's antlers) along, and he fell down once cause of moi :/ and wet his pants :D hahaha but yes anyways. then somewhere along ze way i slipped and fell in e middle of our skating time at least. not as wasted as last minute but of course better not to fall at all - kuz fell into another wet puddle. and was wearing light colored cargo pants this time. D: so coll was like "ah. youre wet, but (butt) not that wet." grrr. was cold&uncomfy. but haha fall&pick yrself up!

hahaha jul&coll&i were wetting our gloves w teh icy water and throttling ea other's necks, was cold as heck :/ but glories of pushing jul around surpassed having a freezing neck anyways. crashed a few times though, while racing ea other around ouch. and hahaha some kind of racing, we sometimes took e long way around e edges of e rink, or rly small circles around a 3 m radius of e centre of e rink teehee ((:

and after that e ice was lovely. much smoother, DRIER!, and easier to fall. xD and you can zoom around like really fast, without a lonnngg watermark trail behind you lol. haha continued committing near-murder on e ice - kuz of a tendency to crash into people due to inabilities to stop in e middle of nowhere. luckily managed to hold up those i crashed into - including a six year old little kid. ((: haha jasmine caught on rather fast, first time skating but she didn even fall down once! (i think? hahaha having a rollerskating background helps. ALOT) jul fell down a few times (once thanks to mae ;D i poked a tad too hard) coll fell down once (a kid slammed into him w e metal bar thing. then he landed on his back and skidded a couple of metres =O) and jasmine's friends too pro to fall down.

then after that coll&jul&i left for orchard (jasmineteo one day we shall meet up in school, and i'll fry you alive for not coming along D: heh) nearly fell asleep in ze taxi, was so out after a couple of 5 am, 7am, 6am nights. finally rmbred to pass on e devotional hoho :D and we met teh three cousins at shaw centre. we were supposed to watch NatM at first but cause we were supposedly 30 minutes (15 minutes actually) late, so they didn wanna watch anymore :X we might as well have stayed in fuji lol. and gabriel squirted water at all of us w his ring thing, so i poured half a mini cup of water on his head on e escalator teehee.

but to make e best of things - went into dome cafe (after much discussion at e cafe entrance) and finally had breakfast-lunch-dinner combined. (felt better after taking a soft drink on an empty stomach =X save for some milo and a quarter of a pear before that. hahaha and was treated to teh drink again! :D lol last time was to keep mae warm, now to keep mae cooler) munchi combi! which we over ordered (two) and an interesting pie. hahaha e munchi combi had lettuce, so had to force myself to eat those - leaves. lol :D

coll&jul left at 6.30 pm (coll: we're about -18 minutes early.) to go home and change for their 8 pm esplanade concert (hahaha cannot go in wet jeans&pants) so i went around orchard cause mom was like "eh dont come back yet kuz i havent finished work yet and if you sit here you'll be really bored." hahaha and omg met The Man from NZ organising e paragon christmas festivities. & strolled over to taka and was walking past gucci when guess who i met! tiffany&auntie meggie!

hahaha so we were talking in e middle of e corridor for like 15 minutes, then was dragged off to taka level 4 to do christmas shopping for tiffany's 4 year old cousins, someone called dillon, two Terrible Twins? and olivia&vanessa (hahaha yay they're rly cute!) so for e first time in like 5000 years stepped into e barbie doll department and helped choose two dolls for o&v, then bought some dkny shirts for dillon, and bob-the-builder pjs for thomas! ((: lol and then went back to get more dkny shirts for teh Terrible Twins.

hahah then met mom at food republic at about 9.20 and zipped down for NatM @ cathay 10.05 pm after much tau suan and mango sago! ((: but there was a delay, and cathay's ads are now like so long we wound up starting at roughly 1045 pm and finished at 1245 am! :/ haha then mom&i walked around abit before finally going home, which is why i logged on at 2.30 am teehee. and now i saw rly nice jackets (bronze-brown&gold!) at esprit edc, and a crumpled white top. hahaha -loves. i need funding too now! :/ well fat hope. its $110 for e jacket, $40 for e top.

yay going shopping w mom and her credit cards later tonight <3 julian&jasmine! i still need my $200 christmas present. to SHOP.

& so the party's over D: but it was definitely e most fun since sec one - by the who what when where factor. haha we didn bomb each other in e end, but whatever else we did more than made up for it ((: loved it so much even though it was considerably shorter than e other years (this year it kind of began at 3 pm while it used to start at 9 am thanks to tiffany hoho) but still. it was e things we did & all :D yay.

yep anyways! since claire was e first to arrive (tiffany's mom arranged piano for her till rather late) we talked about really random stuff. (would be fun to have childbirth at 25 years old, at least if your kid were our age, we would only be 40 so less generation gap? o_O still, being forty sounds old) hahaha then tiffany&joanne&jasmine arrived! (jasmine had to travel like 2 hrs or so juz to get here from east-east pasir ris! hahaha sry!) lol arrival times were like so ordered - 3 pm, 4, 5, 6, 7.30 etc. aunty suan was waving super spastically luh! ((: liked her top, its veh adult but its still nice in e art way. wanna ask her where she got it from.

watched casanova before dinner, and abit more after while waiting for ze baby pink cake. ALENA! i think i partly understand why you fangirl heath ledger :D hahaha although missed out on some parts of e story of teh italian polygamist, but yes, whatever i caught of it was pretty enjoyably funny (: teehee e nuns in venice all had smth to hide.

=D even think dinner this year was nicer, not out in e open w ants lazing around for a crumb or two, but next to e staircase! and e caterer was telling mom about how "number 33 and 35 also catered from us." lol small world. well anyways, always trusted garibaldi to churn up some stuff, & i even tried e seafood salad! wasnt too bad, e prawns saved it. loved e lasagna, ravioli & beef w gravy and whatever else there was. didn eat too much though kuz of e prospects of swimming (wild thrashing thusly throwing everything back out) e cake was much love - mint chip! w shweet saggitarius & a lovely green star. hahaha love e flavor so much.

hahaha finally at home :D but yes, homework has totally gone whooshing down teh lovely old gutter of trash. dont feel like doing commonwealth (urgh commonwealth) & e math modules are a great excuse to use e comp for long periods into teh night ((: but still, doing math at night gives you insomnia (cause i really do do it, at teh lovely rate of one question per half hour or something) &then there's ih sia which i gotta do before brenda skins me alive. and that goes for everyone else too! ): we all have homework! yours, faithfully undone.

anyways! monday! was great fun, didn expect to be able to watch deck e halls but did in e end. (had dental appointment before that& dr sim tightened my braces so cannot eat!) was marvellously funny&superbly cute&touching towards e end, w totally spaz parts in e middle hoho :D still a christmas movie is a movie to be enjoyed isnt it! hahaha grace&amp;gabriel&julian&i were making so much noise i think it annoyed e people behind us, but then after about 10 min we maintained our sense of dignity so it was okay after all i suppose.

&we spent 15 min deciding if we wanted to eat or not. then 5 min deciding where to eat - long john silver's. was a must to eat, esp for julian! ((: haha took pictures of them eating strangely, i didn eat HAHA :D and gabriel was like licking up his sprite, so it was quite a stomach turner, turned away so i wouldn have to look opp e table at him acting like march =X haha &julian was shivering away kuz e aircon was blowing right at him so we moved off (after julian ran to ring e ljs bell in e corner roflmao) then grace&gab tried to drag julian into neoprints, while i strolled in carrying julian's specs which were knocked to e floor during a brief tussle hoho. then he was following around like a zombie trying to get at his specs &then felt a huge tug on my ponytail )): haha jul was like pulling my hair until i gave in (which was rather fast) OUCH. mean ol juliette.

&somehow we wound up at kbox then julian's place to get his dvds presumably, until he brought his PS2 w him & anyways mrs ong teh math tuition teacher was coming so. i abandoned them there w collin (who was busy doing work & others) haha :D but teh three came after my tuition, and then we did nothing but disturb aunty jingyun, examine my laptop (laughs) & show them (esp julian) around for fun! (sorry guys that you had to take such a loonng walk up teh hill from coro) then jul's dad&jul hung around chatting for super long till 730 plus after everyone else left already. hahaha coll nvm you can come next time after making sure someone tells you that they're coming ere :D -laughs.

tuesday! hahaha ALENA A BIG HUG&THANKYOO! hitched a ride from tiffany's dad in teh ferrari -loves. &met alena at coro & then mrted to tecman @ bras basah! &then we bought my replacement Bible, teh one which i'd been eyeing since e last we went there (and mom's definitely not happy i lost e family bible but she's simmering over that one haha ouch) anyways my new Bible is teh pretty! blue&cream&tan, called some italian duo color! &its got a nice leather cover, and teh words of Jesus are all in red! hahaha -loves. oops yeah =/ ALENA AM SORRY FOR BURNING A HOLE IN TEH POCKET. hahaha actually no, but hmm anws. bought jan&feb 07 devotional as well, for mcdonald delivery boy haha :D & more worship cards. then we went our separate ways! )):

&at night! uncle dongpheng & aunty suanny took me to shop for e loveleh guitar @ yamaha plaza sing! hahaha found one that i really liked finally, darkish but w lighter patches -loves. and bought christian picks & some USA pick which was really cute ((: happy! then aunty taught me some basic chords, of which i can now only rmbr A chord. and A7. so we tried playing wonderwall, some christmas songs, here i am to worship! (which is freaking hard) & all for love - hillsong! -jumpjump. FUN! :D

wednesday! super paiseh but woke up later than when tiffany came.

hahaha anyways! (maintains pride&more dignity) we went w mom to her clinic to replace tiffany's lost-to-ze-basin lens, then went around looking for christmas stuff @ kinokuniya! hahaha wanted to buy xmas cards but there were none that were nice or even remotely christmas (kino only sells happy birthday, congrats for teh new son or daughter kind of cards asdfghjkl) so anyways ransacked taka for 1 inch heels for tiffany, but looking at aldo's gave us nothing so we went to wisma ((: &each bought matching MNG barcelona shirts hahaha :D kuz they were having a sale. visited topshop too! hahaha nice notebooks (:

then heeren's flash&splash! found e stussy bag that i want uncle ronnie to buy for me =D gray&gold sling bag that can pass off for handbag if you shorten e strap! and then we picked out a pair of mini shorts for tiffany - spent super long trying to look for one that didn have huge words on e arse, so her mom wouldn make any fuss. (am bad influence& dragged tiffany to new urban male where i told her to look that way at a _______ =D am not forgiven yet) then at night ryan uncle&auntie&some random uncle's business partner came over & we watched hitler: rise of evil. i think its terribly wrong to have a thing for your niece =X hahah then after that. we researched on attila ze hun, whom we were debating over for a long time - if he were mongolian or or or european?! haha :D

thursday! ouchouch our ldp gathering in honor of jiawei&my birthdays! =D was decidedly antisocial throughout, kuz didn really talk to e others veh much except jw kuz he's e only one i know abit-more-than-them. anws we didn go ice skating in e end D: haha (its okay kuz going on 22nd woot!) we went bowling after a veh antisocial lunch& deja vu (high blood pressure &then gabriel offered help w my cw essay halfway thru and broke off some tension but anyways) hahaha cant bowl properly for teh nuts of mae D: haha but nvm am learning i beat my own record yes! ((: one day shall get what mom got e other day (123) or jiawei's shocking one oh seven! HAHA =D ohyes thanks kevin for ze book! (i peeked at it!)

we paid alena a glorious old visit at her block 125 bukit batok! & invaded her room to check it out! hahaha ALENA am envious of your laptop tis pretty =D (but i prefer my desktop picture OHOHO tis e one from china when we're all linked up in teh lobby making sure we dont let go of each other or we'll fall & w jingyun in e middle :D) and met lorena! hahaha she's veh cute, veh how-do-you-say-it for a 9 or 10 year old? HAHA ((: and then when we were walking down to jurong east mrt w alena&lorena (it rhymes dunnit) in front jw&i were like - "ahh they're so sisterly" which is veh true. anws when 3 of us girls were finally together then we started chatting about ____ & _____! =D much fun.

okay! now im grounded (ie. not truly grounded but am self forcing mahself to stay at home anyways for obvious reasons) at home for one day since ive done zilch work for e past few days hoho =) obviously not really doing work though. shall do QT then attempt math+commonwealth. maybe. =D

(&we're back to our normal lives)

still not entirely used to e fact that can now wake up whatever time i want, instead of e orderliness and having to conform to an itinerary. seems pretty fun to have to live structurally, at least you know what to anticipate, that there's smth you can look forward to, rather than anticipate, and then. nothing. ((: & yes, e feeling of having your entire wardrobe for that week or so juz lying in one bag, one suitcase. and even better this time, knowing youre confined to within a cruise ship (for most of e 7 days) but also understanding youre still free, free to roam and do whatever you want. (except swim) i mean hey, we flew a kite! =D beat that.

kind of miss e cold temperatures too, except it made some skin scale and peel off. which is quite grosse, but its not permanent. e diff between china& nz was that, nz has significantly nicer scenery (compare sheepsheep&moresheep grazing in nice grassy meadows against loads of tall buildings, hooting cabs& omg e smog) & AIR (said smog in chinaland) strange that e same thing didn happen to mae skin after nz, considering it was much colder (it dipped under zero!) there. and dryer (it didn really rain, except on overnight day)

:)) 9 more days to go. hahaha even got e letter saying can register for ic e moment 19 dec hits us. fantabulous fifteen hoho. feels strange to be fifteen in sec four. eighteen in university. hahaha ohyes i guess nus would be a viable option, not too keen on going overseas. for certain reasons :D i wonder if mom still wants to send me to some english school like cambridge? (how to get in in first place!) sidenote - i rmbr those people who had biometric passports when we were coming back from nz haha kool =)

flags of our fathers - directed by clint eastwood. as i said, gory images - one part where this guy, probably some 19 year old new army recruit, stepped right into e path of one of those IED bombs, and got his head blown clean off his neck =X but aside from that. yeah e movie sends out a pretty clean message - war&greed vs love&humility. like how war&desire to conquer does naught but remove people's lives, people's sons, husbands, brothers, cousins. and whatever's gained at e end still cant replace all those lives that were so unnecessarily lost. and when people label you as hero, you dont feel like one, youve survived and you think "why me &not e others?" and those are e heroes in your eyes. pretty much alot of passion in e show, character stuff. oh& ryan philippe. must watch! :)

happy birthday jiawei - from e whole ldp group! now dont fret, people will always remember. hahaha wish i knew about taiwan cancellation earlier, then perhaps could have gone to church camp w alena. that would have been fun. enriching. ohwells i guess there's always a next time?

& its true, xmas is like e best hol ever. giving vs receiving, seeing all e happy people, lights&mistletoe, family dinners & togetherness, yes forgetting all e bad and knowing all e good deep down inside&outside, SMILING =) celebrating Christ! yes, would be really nice to go to some winter country like e way ______ said, ice skating on a real pond, on real ice. listening to jolly ol' xmas music, while having that lovely floating sensation. smelling fresh pine scents, knowing that there's christmas pie coming. pudding. etc. ((: ahhh. & for those truly living in london paris or alaska, watching snow swirls, pressing your nose against cold glass (nyeh) even building mr snowman (or in our case for nz, snow horse) :D snowball fights! ploughing thru thigh high snow! snow is e thing we all miss. so much.

wouldn it be nice to have a real xmas tree in e house? shall poke mom to get one for next year. meanwhiles w e recyclable PLASTIC xmas tree, tiff&i shall have to snow spray it before e 16th. ((: hahaha ohyes yesterday was crazy - played basketball @ tiff's place w her newly bought real size hoop& spaulding ball! (grr) hahaha was really fun though, played defense, normal bball & points! (apparently you shoot hoops from distances measured by e garage tiles, and e further you shoot (&score) e more points you get, first to hit 10 or was it 15 wins all) :D hahaha missed playing bball in school. teh eldest (ryan) won. hahaha oops& i nearly missed hitting aunty meggie in e head w e ball. cant dribble properly for nuts either (esp when you have someone about your size dancing around blocking like a rock wall :D) ah& tiffany took a really undignified photo of us fighting for e ball w our lives. no intention to delete it though. yet.

hahaha back&healthy from teh chinaland, w remaining touches of rosy pink (dont go away!) :D & ohgosh e trip (to chengdu, wuhan& chongqing) was e best one ever! rather unexpectedly so, i believe none of us were expecting there to be another 7 teenagers to hang around w! ((: although we were from different groups (some of us) but there were lovely opportunities to get together! :D

anyway! was meant to leave at 10 am on 29 nov, but wound up leaving at like 2 pm from changi airport, kuz e flight was delayed kuz of engine trouble, and inability to steer =X so pilot wanted to change planes. then had to wait for like a really long time. by e time we got to chengdu, it was like 7 or 8, & e tour group had already hopped over to wuhan! )): hahaha so we took next flight to wuhan (reached @ 12 am!), and had to brave a really fast driver to e hotel! he was going like at 110 kmh and we near missed a hyooge lorry (heart palpitations) =X


then finally next morning we met up w e rest of e group! & met rainbow (original name caihong/chyehoong)! hahaha she was our malaysian tour assistant leader or smth (what do you call them!) it was like she & another TAL were in e lift w mom&i going down to lobby, and we were all staring at each other. then after that our luggage got a bit stuck, so we helped each other pry them from e lift, & 5 minutes later while doing role calling mom&i found out rainbow&other-person were TALs ((: hahaha coincidence. second coincidence - rainbow was looking for us frantically as well, kuz she didn have our room number ohoho! xD

yep then we set out. for a temple or pagoda. yellow ____ pagoda (cant rmbr e name ohdear) hahaha was in group 8, teh biggest group! & had patricia gabriel& grace as well! so we were also e group w e most teens hahaha :D except we daoed each other for e first two days )): wasted. then during lunch, mom's colleague was there too! (another coincidence! both work in mount e) & so he strolled over to say hello, w his two sons collin&julian :D hahaha we kind of daoed each other too? like, stare oO & sometime after that, we had to board ship! hahaha we got a rude shock at first, kuz we passed thru this ship w laundry hanging all over e corridors, and thought it was e one meant for us to stay in. then we walk some more and passed into this huge cruiser w a rather pretty lobby! ((: so were smiling away hohoho.

YANGTZE ONE! hahaha we stare down victoria cruises& ship-full-of-laundry yo! ((: we started moving during lunch hahaha one of e uncles at my table was uber cute luh!

uncle: -turns around- eh?! wah really! good good.

yep then we started looking at e first two gorges on e uppermost deck! hahaha wanted to be jack/rose when i first saw e ship, like stand at e pointy bow & fly hahaha but they closed e gate pwnage )): moodspoilers! then had to settle for e blunter lower deck, & half of e extremely windy uppermost deck (w a 10 m pool. or 5 m) & sat around. hahaha & there was aunty jingyun (jingyun jie) w us too! capital 95.8 FM dj! hahah she's super kool, uber friendly and all, was interacting w everyone of e groups and us all hahahaha :)) loves. except none of us really knew each other yet.

oh& we stopped over or something to go look at e construction site of e huge three gorges dam construction site. had my new white coat w me hahaha loves it muchly =D was cold. & well we spent about half an hour standing there gawking at e huge dam site. then collin&his dad strolled over and mom started talking to them =O hahaha i still pretty much dao-ed them (: thought coll was studying in cambridge or smth, kuz of his veh misleading cambridge blazer hohoho. but anws found out two days later he was from acs i, year 6 (2007) & he turned out to be from e same overseas study programme mom wanted to send me for but i lazy to go =P

e way in which jasmine&i met each other still rawks e most luh oO hahaha we boarded a smaller ship in e morning to go tour around e lesser three gorges. &thats where we all started becoming a little more friendly hahaha :D in that we all started talking to each other on day 3! coll tried to get me to come out into e biting cold on e ship deck (but was already dying of cold so took shelter in ship basement) & treated me to tea (hahaha that was kuz i went down to take, realised it cost ten RMB and hopped up to get $ but he offered :D), jasmine&i got to know each other over e hanging coffin =X (we actually saw each other at e bar e previous night, but yep still dao) half an hour later, and started talking thruout e cruise (plus photowhoring and whatnot), then jas&i went to find auntyjingyun (who offered us biscuits) and then she forced gabgrace&pat to talk to jas&i, then after more staring and daoing we started talking.

me: gabriel i thought you were 12 years old.
gab: WHAT?!!

hahahaha ((: that was when havoc started. oh& thruout e whole cruise around e lesser three gorges, jas&i realised this stork we saw flying around was e only one bird we'd ever seen so far, so we chased it around trying to take picture of it. finally caught one pretty shot w china flag in foreground somemore! & trying to understand e rock formations was super hard, e guide was like, look hanging coffin! or goddess peak! and pandas drinking water! but jas&i stared like superlong and couldnt see anything - we decided it needed a heck lot of imagination. (& most of e adults agreed w us except this aunty who kept trying to point e formations out to us =S)

me: hahaha exactly, like those two holes look like nostrils lah!

oh& on e ship there were like 3 ahpeks trying to talk to jasmine&i, kept asking us about who we were, where we come from (this sounds like teh nursery song xD) & who we came with, etc. then after that some adults passed by and they voluntarily shooed off awhile and soon came back again =X

((: then we went to aunty jingyun's room to play around. =D played heart attack (lol) some clownish name game & stuff, listened to julian's creative zen v plus (zomg wants!) and photowhoring on aunty jingyun's balcony and all, but couldn really think of what to do! hahaha so we messed up her bed & stuff, some tried to sleep, e rest of us juz hung around lazily. then coll brought his laptop along & jasmine was like typing stuff onto his homework hahaha w some contributions from each of us. ("teacher! give me food!") hahaha hope all e marks have been erased now or (hahaha) grades will be super suay =X then we listened to itunes songs & stuff hahaha. candy shop! pity coll didn have sexy back hahaha :D (can get super high on that one, and being high is enough to make mae go red, dont need alcohol hohoho)


ahyes, we visited e gym quite a bit too, tried to pull down a 120 pound (yes, pound, not kg you guys killed our hopes&dreams xP) weight, and after lots of pulling &eating rice (HAHAHA) jasmine&i each did it! hahaha coll&gabriel juz yanked abit and got it down =X zomg jealous hahaha! then we tried out e treadmill, and cycling machine as well etc. lots of fun!

at night we had a karaoke competition thing & we forced gabriel to go, hahaha so even though he tried to disappear by sneaking around e bar for one hour (muscle cramps!) he still had to turn up to sing xiaowei in e end. hahahaha then kena tease by all e uncles and aunties hahaha so cute :D so everyone calls him xiaowei now. & for singing, he got a toothpick holder from chinaland! plus a glorious toothpick (for lunch) :D

:) &mom allows me to drink whatever now! but still dont like beer veh much luh. & i realised i have super low alcohol tolerance! anyways on third day night, drank a few cups of champagne & totally turned a shade as brilliant as jasmine's hotpink shirt! =X then got mistaken for being drunk )): hahaha not so easy lah. julian was uber funny was pretending to be drunk! hahaha then jasmine&i were being crazy and running around, then people downstairs complain! )): hahaha so didn wanna get aunty jingyun into trouble anymore so we went down below deck. then jasmine wanted me to sleepover in her room, but hahaha mom was uber smart and knew we confirm wouldn sleep so dont allow )):

then next day we toured last one of e three gorges :) learnt that water level rose up 70 m over e past 3 years, which is a lot of water hahaha dunno how it rose so fast also =D hahaha then there was some embroidery thing upstairs, and painting of snuff bottles. then coll said mom was doing, later she showed me e bottle they gave her as a reward for trying, but they took away e one she did! )): would have liked to see. (dang should have taken e hint& gone) hahaha then went to lie around and do stuff in aunty's room again, then dinner, then we went to drink again! & then couldn wake up next morning hahaha head was like super heavy, so lay there for an hour stoning. thinking about stuff. then jasmine called to ask where i was, kuz she decided to get up hahaha =D so i went down to eat yoghurt. and nothing else. hahaha liulaoshi was like oO is that all youre eating! (translated from chinese) =P (no alena, i am not on a diet)

last day of cruise! ): ohwell then we went to some ghost temple thing! hahaha couples were supposed to take nine steps across a bridge (for marital longevity purposes :D) and singles were supposed to take three steps across for i dunno whad purpose lol :D then jasmine&i ate our yoghurt while watching drama queen trying out some balancing act thing (saw coll doing for super long, about ten seconds) and posing w e ghost figures hahaha spastic lah. and tried to pose w umbrellas but e shop owner came and chased us away )): made us pay if we wanted to take photo =X

ohoh & we bought a kite! hahaha gabriel bought one string of 15 kites for like SG$2 and a huge butterfly for 25 RMB w string included hahaha super cheap! (: then we brought it back to ship to fly. but one wing got ripped off by e super strong wind, so gabriel grace julian jasmine&i ran down to lowest level (basement) to retrieve it, then we were spotted by e manager who tried to shoo us out asap, after helping us find for awhile. then we didn feel like giving up e search so we went down a second time and practically got chased out rather loudly )): hahaha so that was e end of e butterfly. then mom tried to make a new one from another quarter (a wing) of e butterfly, then we were threading needles to sew up e frame to e kite, so it wouldn dislocate. hahaha no future career as a seamstress -

after that we went down and mooched around aunty jingyun's room :D jasmine julian coll & i took e bed, gabriel took e baggage rack (!!! which looked like it would break any moment ohoho) and grace&pat took e sofa. aunty took e chair! =D hahaha then we tried to sleep, but every few moments would have someone moving, so it was like grace&pat&jasmine who were e only ones sleeping. then gabriel&julian started playing comp game w coll's laptop and took scandal photos =O hahaha have one in my phone right now =X shock. hahaha then after that we kept snatching pillows from each other, kuz 8 of us but 4 or 5 pillows only. then i took coll's pillow when he got up, but he suddenly flopped back down & his head hit mine damn hard =X so both of us shot up again, yelling pain. hahaha spastic lah. aunty dj juz kept grinning away lol :D

then captain's farewell dinner! ): decided not to eat too much kuz china food chao oily! so ate a lot at cocktail party thing. hahaha none of us could be bothered to change into smth more formal, except coll&julian (changed into formal longsleeved shirts) haha we were like o_O for what?! hahaha then we went for dinner and back up to karaoke hall! hung around e deck photowhoring then went back in to listen to aunty dj sing! (hahaha coll ala camera guardian had to chase me around w e things i kept leaving behind in places - picked up my camera again kuz left it on deck. in e afternoon also left it on deck and realised, and when jass&coll&i went up to get it, a guy from e bar came out saying he saw it there and brought it in for safekeeping! hahaha zomg yay :D e people on e ship rawk)

went up to dance around for a while, &went back up to deck for another round of drinking hahaha. it was like four cups of champagne&one heineken. (dont like beer =X) jasmine&i tried to climb over to e other deck but that really worried aunty jingyun (oops ><) so yeah we climbed back across, & settled for dancing&spinningaround. then went to aunty jingyun's room where everyone except auntyjingyun&coll&i fell asleep, so juz sat there talking till 2.15 when julian woke up w a fluffy head & thats when we all went back to our rooms ):
so next morning all went separate ways )': toured around some dazu rocks thing. hahaha we were supposed to walk but lazy so we took a car. and stoned for next hour plus. saw random china signs like "visitors welcome to visit toilet" HAHA & went for lunch - at least our teenage clique could meet up one final time! hahaha kuz coll&jul's group came for lunch first, so after lunch we took a few more photos, then poomf. dispersed ): spent 5 hours in bus talking _____ to grace gabriel&pat. hahah then gab set a match alight and woke up e whole bus kuz of e smoke smell tsktsk.

(somewhere along e way, we spent one night at holiday inn chengdu, coll&julian&jasmine were like having fun at intercontinental chongqing =O hahaha nv! you didnt see our huge living room & bedroom! & teh portrait in e bathrooms hahaha. but we didn do anything that night, kuz too tired =X) spent about two hours touring shopping centres. gab contacted collin so we were taking turns to reply his text msges while shopping around hahaha :D aunty jingyun recommended me a pair of super nice star earrings LOVE =P then after that at e second shopping centre mom&i checked into xinliang hotel opposite. (was super eeks luh, e first room had cockroaches, so mom changed room, but e taps werent working properly. so she wanted to change hotels but e tour group leader wouldn allow so we had to settle for room 1322 which was considerably cleaner, though smaller.) hahaha by e time we finished changing rooms e others had finished shopping so had to go to next destination, thanks to you three who bought e strange blue mint drink thing and fries! hahahaha :D & pistachios lol.

then went to silk&jade place. haha gab was trying to prevent granny from overspending, & mom was busy choosing silk blankets and wound up buying one w free gifts of bolsters and pillows =S jingyun & gab's granny bought shawls! :) hahaha helped aunty jingyun pick a checkered pink shawl. then e jade shop =X we werent touring around for veh long before accident happened! grace&amp;amp;pat&gab&i were apart from e group, staring aimlessly at slabs of jade stone. gab was like coming up from behind, then i turned around too fast& smashed into his head&specs. so his right lens completely broke into half =X and left a red patch on his face. hope to goodness his granny will nv find out. (err sorry gab! shall quote you - "i told my mom and you know what she said? tell me for what?" o_O whoa) &yes mom bought another jade bracelet, AGAIN. D:

hmm dinner was interesting - they served some apple cider, some kind of hard liquor anyways - 38% alcohol! pat was like telling us not to taste it but we didn listen (sorry pat!) so i took a sip. and promptly (&oncemore) turned a brilliant shade of jasmine's-shirt-hot-pink. then gabriel laughed ): after that had some nice chicken soup and pulau hitam! after dinner had to split up finally, kuz everyone else was going home already via china airlines, mom&i were going home next day via silkair. (coll&jul were bound to take CA back from guangzhou next day, and jasmine's only coming back next week from xiamen visiting relatives!) hahaha so took photos w aunty jingyun, gab&grace&pat then split up ): went for shopping and stuff, bought loads of things! (hahaha yep cool stuff yo. including a hat like e one chaegyung has!) &sweets for alena&yingming that are already sold in spore but nvm. some shirts and stuff, etc. and more earrings lol. hahaha then went back to hotel at about 10 or 11, super tired.

whee coll&i thought might meet up in changi airport since we were going back on e same day, but flight arrivals were like 2 hrs apart - until mae flight was delayed :) hahaha so arrived at 10.15 and shopped around till 11 (when coll's plane touched down) but i realised we were in separate terminals so yeah pwnage. phone batt died some more =X & immediately started roasting beneath layers of clothes ):

anyways all of us really miss chinaland trip now, ontop of nz, for mae! (oh& gabriel was in nz on 15 nov, day before we left, and he said he was shopping at e auckland warehouse, and thought he heard five girls screaming around hahaha hint! but auckland has more than one warehouse so dunno if its e same one, maybe it was, then itd be coincidence galore!) yep so "yangtze withdrawal symptoms" surfacing all over again hahahaha & alcohol deprivation. miss getting high on e cold windy deck now. ohwells okay superlong post byebye.
