Last post of 2007. It's been a pretty good year :) Ups and downs, joys and sorrows, fun and gray-sky days, holidays and examinations, past and future. 410 has survived another fantastic year together, what with certain authorities (oooo, inside stories) and essentially another 365 days filled with craziest fun and laughter, naggings and neck-stranglings by the teachers :D
So yeah, IB starts soon and I'm pretty excited about it. Another new chapter of my 15 years residing on Earth, and probably a really eventful, truly memorable one. The kind I'll look back on as an old 60ish aunty and praise God for :)
And so, today I wouldnt have been able to see 2 days in paris (not legally anyway), tomorrow I can walk in without a hitch and a quick flash of the pink IC. Sombre sedative effect, eh? Anyways the party this year was just awesome. It rained, obviously, but I prayed that it would stop at 7 and yes, it did, right on the spot. We had one heck lot of fun, or at least I and some others did :P This is the first year I wasnt picked up bodily and thrown in like a pig (praise God for that too)
Birthday lunch together after ShineForth the next day at Newton, walked the length there from Barker (!!!) and pretty much had a rocking time :) Definitely among my favorite lunches of 2007, and to prove I do eat at Newton so there.
Went our separate ways after. Literally, since jass and lora i'll see only next year. Jo's going to india now, and coll and jul are off to Jakarta. Myself, Eastern Europe from 20 to 31 dec :) So like i said, its been a really, really good year. Here's wishing everyone a very merry Christmas, and praying that we may all indulge in the joys of giving this Yuletide season!
5 more days to my favorite event of the year, 9 more days to the scariest day of my life so far, and 15 more to the best day of the year. 21 to the day of greatest celebrations. 22 to the most traumatic day of our lives.
I've bought one textbook (Theory of knowledge) and three story-textbooks (Huck Finn, King Lear and Siddhartha) Thank goodness school will probably open with chapel :) Girls' uniforms arent even on sale yet. A sweater's essential. And then a whole new string of thoughts that directly involve psyching out for the new year.
Anyways how bad can recurring fevers get? I've never had 4 fe-freaking-vers in like, 2 weeks?! Sick again ): and its not just grey's anatomy inducing 5 am nights, i think its partially my thought mechanisms to blame. Which is partially why I watch GA almost obsessively, so I dont have to think about anything.
Its really annoying that stuff like
this happens shortly before the greatest event of my year. Hoping to clear it up on Thursday, in as discreet a way as possible. And I told someone about it, someone I would never ever expect to have told. It just came out, like the mythical wolf Fenrir exploding his chains apart.
Bleh. Well the greatest month of the year where the greatest people are born (HEY im talking about Christ okay) is here, so i might as well stay jolly :) For example how I probably wont buy a dress anymore cause Mom got me an Acer Travelmate laptop (!!) and Uncle DP gave me a new mobile. And Uncle R's gonna get me a Crumpler sch-bag. And Mom who "I hate shopping!" all the time, went on a shopping spree this past weekend and spent *insert undisclosed scary amount* in a few hours.
Tis the season to be jolly, tis the season to be merry, tis the season to be happy, tis the season to be...
