Because its
twothousand&eight, this is pretty much due:
If you asked me which year leapt off on the best start possible, I'd say 2008. 7 days of it flown and gone, and each of them were simply superb. Of course it started with a jetlagged wakening at some incredible time on New Year's Day after partying around the night before, right after Europe. A bit of birthday wishing, Kendrick's party (narrowly escaped several unglamorous assaults to drag me into the pool, while trying to keep my top on, literally)
And then back to school. After days of playing around with the ideas of Math or Econs, I've finally decided on Econs HL (which deems my options form terribly invalid) against about 30 people's wishes/demands/recommendations -.- I've no idea exactly why, a leap of faith maybe :) But yeah IB looks really promising, and really really fun thus far. For recs, I love OG 4 and hopefully at least some of us will stay together for actual class; seeing as we're all friendly already.
CCAs! Never let it bother me as much, but its really important to find sthg you like, so. I'm eyeing !nk, FireAC or perhaps Young diplomats, while being coerced to try choir and interact. But... nah. Oh and there's a bunch of BRYC classmates here too, makes gossiping increasingly fun, somehow.
And yes, Europe! :) We had plenty of fun over Christmas, conjuring up ridiculous Yuletide songs and making fun of our dear Alex (the most amoral travel manager on earth), plus nightly conferences of everything from magic tricks (?!) to Truth & Dare (no comment). Anyways, three cheers and three cheers and... to Krystle, Tiff, Chloe, Dionne, Jen, Jae, Kendrick, Kevin, Terence, Tiffany Junior, Brandon, and the 17 plus adults! Awesome 12 days with 40 times as many photos, though 200 are currently in Prague (and hoping they're coming back here cause I stupidly left my memory card on the BED)
Alena can't get over the fact that I now reach school at the time I used to wake up.
Relishing the holiday tmr thanks to last year's batch of Year 6ers, shall visit my alma mater and HC, see how everyone's doing :) Really do miss them so (take that, Alena). And congratulations for *someone's* fantastic 43 and all the best for army, even though I'm ready to hack off...
Last but most:
Happy New Year! to all my darling dears. Praying for an eventfully terrific 2008 ahead, all the best for us Year 5s and JC 1s (at HC) :D
... and best of new January birthdays to Collin (1st!), Alena (14th), Joanne (16th) :P Cheers!
