hahaha back&healthy from teh chinaland, w remaining touches of rosy pink (dont go away!) :D & ohgosh e trip (to chengdu, wuhan& chongqing) was e best one ever! rather unexpectedly so, i believe none of us were expecting there to be another 7 teenagers to hang around w! ((: although we were from different groups (some of us) but there were lovely opportunities to get together! :D

anyway! was meant to leave at 10 am on 29 nov, but wound up leaving at like 2 pm from changi airport, kuz e flight was delayed kuz of engine trouble, and inability to steer =X so pilot wanted to change planes. then had to wait for like a really long time. by e time we got to chengdu, it was like 7 or 8, & e tour group had already hopped over to wuhan! )): hahaha so we took next flight to wuhan (reached @ 12 am!), and had to brave a really fast driver to e hotel! he was going like at 110 kmh and we near missed a hyooge lorry (heart palpitations) =X


then finally next morning we met up w e rest of e group! & met rainbow (original name caihong/chyehoong)! hahaha she was our malaysian tour assistant leader or smth (what do you call them!) it was like she & another TAL were in e lift w mom&i going down to lobby, and we were all staring at each other. then after that our luggage got a bit stuck, so we helped each other pry them from e lift, & 5 minutes later while doing role calling mom&i found out rainbow&other-person were TALs ((: hahaha coincidence. second coincidence - rainbow was looking for us frantically as well, kuz she didn have our room number ohoho! xD

yep then we set out. for a temple or pagoda. yellow ____ pagoda (cant rmbr e name ohdear) hahaha was in group 8, teh biggest group! & had patricia gabriel& grace as well! so we were also e group w e most teens hahaha :D except we daoed each other for e first two days )): wasted. then during lunch, mom's colleague was there too! (another coincidence! both work in mount e) & so he strolled over to say hello, w his two sons collin&julian :D hahaha we kind of daoed each other too? like, stare oO & sometime after that, we had to board ship! hahaha we got a rude shock at first, kuz we passed thru this ship w laundry hanging all over e corridors, and thought it was e one meant for us to stay in. then we walk some more and passed into this huge cruiser w a rather pretty lobby! ((: so were smiling away hohoho.

YANGTZE ONE! hahaha we stare down victoria cruises& ship-full-of-laundry yo! ((: we started moving during lunch hahaha one of e uncles at my table was uber cute luh!

uncle: harh we're moving already ah.
aunty: yar lorh! you mean you didn know ah. look out e window! -pointpointjabjab-
uncle: -turns around- eh?! wah really! good good.

yep then we started looking at e first two gorges on e uppermost deck! hahaha wanted to be jack/rose when i first saw e ship, like stand at e pointy bow & fly hahaha but they closed e gate pwnage )): moodspoilers! then had to settle for e blunter lower deck, & half of e extremely windy uppermost deck (w a 10 m pool. or 5 m) & sat around. hahaha & there was aunty jingyun (jingyun jie) w us too! capital 95.8 FM dj! hahah she's super kool, uber friendly and all, was interacting w everyone of e groups and us all hahahaha :)) loves. except none of us really knew each other yet.

oh& we stopped over or something to go look at e construction site of e huge three gorges dam construction site. had my new white coat w me hahaha loves it muchly =D was cold. & well we spent about half an hour standing there gawking at e huge dam site. then collin&his dad strolled over and mom started talking to them =O hahaha i still pretty much dao-ed them (: thought coll was studying in cambridge or smth, kuz of his veh misleading cambridge blazer hohoho. but anws found out two days later he was from acs i, year 6 (2007) & he turned out to be from e same overseas study programme mom wanted to send me for but i lazy to go =P

e way in which jasmine&i met each other still rawks e most luh oO hahaha we boarded a smaller ship in e morning to go tour around e lesser three gorges. &thats where we all started becoming a little more friendly hahaha :D in that we all started talking to each other on day 3! coll tried to get me to come out into e biting cold on e ship deck (but was already dying of cold so took shelter in ship basement) & treated me to tea (hahaha that was kuz i went down to take, realised it cost ten RMB and hopped up to get $ but he offered :D), jasmine&i got to know each other over e hanging coffin =X (we actually saw each other at e bar e previous night, but yep still dao) half an hour later, and started talking thruout e cruise (plus photowhoring and whatnot), then jas&i went to find auntyjingyun (who offered us biscuits) and then she forced gabgrace&pat to talk to jas&i, then after more staring and daoing we started talking.

me: gabriel i thought you were 12 years old.
gab: WHAT?!!

hahahaha ((: that was when havoc started. oh& thruout e whole cruise around e lesser three gorges, jas&i realised this stork we saw flying around was e only one bird we'd ever seen so far, so we chased it around trying to take picture of it. finally caught one pretty shot w china flag in foreground somemore! & trying to understand e rock formations was super hard, e guide was like, look hanging coffin! or goddess peak! and pandas drinking water! but jas&i stared like superlong and couldnt see anything - we decided it needed a heck lot of imagination. (& most of e adults agreed w us except this aunty who kept trying to point e formations out to us =S)

me: hahaha exactly, like those two holes look like nostrils lah!
jasmine: ya like hippopotamus nose! where got panda!
me: hahaha was thinking of my dog's nose! (yay march! my westie)

oh& on e ship there were like 3 ahpeks trying to talk to jasmine&i, kept asking us about who we were, where we come from (this sounds like teh nursery song xD) & who we came with, etc. then after that some adults passed by and they voluntarily shooed off awhile and soon came back again =X

took more pictures in e lobby hahaha when we got back! interesting group shots, & stuff. hahaha we caught jasmine stoning out and smsing during e shoot, then coll&julian were monkeying around during theirs. &for ours, grace&i were fooling around - making funny faces and victory signs and giving people rabbit ears and stuff ohohoho. gabriel&pat were in separate positions so they were guai hahahaha :D then after that we took some arched-back shots, super suan for e backbone! but good for stomach! like what claire&i did at e pool e other day! ((: then we went to aunty jingyun's room to play around. =D played heart attack (lol) some clownish name game & stuff, listened to julian's creative zen v plus (zomg wants!) and photowhoring on aunty jingyun's balcony and all, but couldn really think of what to do! hahaha so we messed up her bed & stuff, some tried to sleep, e rest of us juz hung around lazily. then coll brought his laptop along & jasmine was like typing stuff onto his homework hahaha w some contributions from each of us. ("teacher! give me food!") hahaha hope all e marks have been erased now or (hahaha) grades will be super suay =X then we listened to itunes songs & stuff hahaha. candy shop! pity coll didn have sexy back hahaha :D (can get super high on that one, and being high is enough to make mae go red, dont need alcohol hohoho)


ahyes, we visited e gym quite a bit too, tried to pull down a 120 pound (yes, pound, not kg you guys killed our hopes&dreams xP) weight, and after lots of pulling &eating rice (HAHAHA) jasmine&i each did it! hahaha coll&gabriel juz yanked abit and got it down =X zomg jealous hahaha! then we tried out e treadmill, and cycling machine as well etc. lots of fun!

at night we had a karaoke competition thing & we forced gabriel to go, hahaha so even though he tried to disappear by sneaking around e bar for one hour (muscle cramps!) he still had to turn up to sing xiaowei in e end. hahahaha then kena tease by all e uncles and aunties hahaha so cute :D so everyone calls him xiaowei now. & for singing, he got a toothpick holder from chinaland! plus a glorious toothpick (for lunch) :D

:) &mom allows me to drink whatever now! but still dont like beer veh much luh. & i realised i have super low alcohol tolerance! anyways on third day night, drank a few cups of champagne & totally turned a shade as brilliant as jasmine's hotpink shirt! =X then got mistaken for being drunk )): hahaha not so easy lah. julian was uber funny was pretending to be drunk! hahaha then jasmine&i were being crazy and running around, then people downstairs complain! )): hahaha so didn wanna get aunty jingyun into trouble anymore so we went down below deck. then jasmine wanted me to sleepover in her room, but hahaha mom was uber smart and knew we confirm wouldn sleep so dont allow )):

then next day we toured last one of e three gorges :) learnt that water level rose up 70 m over e past 3 years, which is a lot of water hahaha dunno how it rose so fast also =D hahaha then there was some embroidery thing upstairs, and painting of snuff bottles. then coll said mom was doing, later she showed me e bottle they gave her as a reward for trying, but they took away e one she did! )): would have liked to see. (dang should have taken e hint& gone) hahaha then went to lie around and do stuff in aunty's room again, then dinner, then we went to drink again! & then couldn wake up next morning hahaha head was like super heavy, so lay there for an hour stoning. thinking about stuff. then jasmine called to ask where i was, kuz she decided to get up hahaha =D so i went down to eat yoghurt. and nothing else. hahaha liulaoshi was like oO is that all youre eating! (translated from chinese) =P (no alena, i am not on a diet)

last day of cruise! ): ohwell then we went to some ghost temple thing! hahaha couples were supposed to take nine steps across a bridge (for marital longevity purposes :D) and singles were supposed to take three steps across for i dunno whad purpose lol :D then jasmine&i ate our yoghurt while watching drama queen trying out some balancing act thing (saw coll doing for super long, about ten seconds) and posing w e ghost figures hahaha spastic lah. and tried to pose w umbrellas but e shop owner came and chased us away )): made us pay if we wanted to take photo =X

ohoh & we bought a kite! hahaha gabriel bought one string of 15 kites for like SG$2 and a huge butterfly for 25 RMB w string included hahaha super cheap! (: then we brought it back to ship to fly. but one wing got ripped off by e super strong wind, so gabriel grace julian jasmine&i ran down to lowest level (basement) to retrieve it, then we were spotted by e manager who tried to shoo us out asap, after helping us find for awhile. then we didn feel like giving up e search so we went down a second time and practically got chased out rather loudly )): hahaha so that was e end of e butterfly. then mom tried to make a new one from another quarter (a wing) of e butterfly, then we were threading needles to sew up e frame to e kite, so it wouldn dislocate. hahaha no future career as a seamstress -

me: yay shall try.
mom: thread e needle okay!

coll: do you want me to help?
me: no! CANNOT! must do myself first! (another five minutes)

me: wait wait wait! licked e thread already haha unhygienic (lame excuse) (another five minutes)
coll: by e time you finish dinner will be served.
me: (almost immediately) YAY DONE. happy! :D

after that we went down and mooched around aunty jingyun's room :D jasmine julian coll & i took e bed, gabriel took e baggage rack (!!! which looked like it would break any moment ohoho) and grace&pat took e sofa. aunty took e chair! =D hahaha then we tried to sleep, but every few moments would have someone moving, so it was like grace&pat&jasmine who were e only ones sleeping. then gabriel&julian started playing comp game w coll's laptop and took scandal photos =O hahaha have one in my phone right now =X shock. hahaha then after that we kept snatching pillows from each other, kuz 8 of us but 4 or 5 pillows only. then i took coll's pillow when he got up, but he suddenly flopped back down & his head hit mine damn hard =X so both of us shot up again, yelling pain. hahaha spastic lah. aunty dj juz kept grinning away lol :D

then captain's farewell dinner! ): decided not to eat too much kuz china food chao oily! so ate a lot at cocktail party thing. hahaha none of us could be bothered to change into smth more formal, except coll&julian (changed into formal longsleeved shirts) haha we were like o_O for what?! hahaha then we went for dinner and back up to karaoke hall! hung around e deck photowhoring then went back in to listen to aunty dj sing! (hahaha coll ala camera guardian had to chase me around w e things i kept leaving behind in places - picked up my camera again kuz left it on deck. in e afternoon also left it on deck and realised, and when jass&coll&i went up to get it, a guy from e bar came out saying he saw it there and brought it in for safekeeping! hahaha zomg yay :D e people on e ship rawk)

went up to dance around for a while, &went back up to deck for another round of drinking hahaha. it was like four cups of champagne&one heineken. (dont like beer =X) jasmine&i tried to climb over to e other deck but that really worried aunty jingyun (oops ><) so yeah we climbed back across, & settled for dancing&spinningaround. then went to aunty jingyun's room where everyone except auntyjingyun&coll&i fell asleep, so juz sat there talking till 2.15 when julian woke up w a fluffy head & thats when we all went back to our rooms ):
so next morning all went separate ways )': toured around some dazu rocks thing. hahaha we were supposed to walk but lazy so we took a car. and stoned for next hour plus. saw random china signs like "visitors welcome to visit toilet" HAHA & went for lunch - at least our teenage clique could meet up one final time! hahaha kuz coll&jul's group came for lunch first, so after lunch we took a few more photos, then poomf. dispersed ): spent 5 hours in bus talking _____ to grace gabriel&pat. hahah then gab set a match alight and woke up e whole bus kuz of e smoke smell tsktsk.

(somewhere along e way, we spent one night at holiday inn chengdu, coll&julian&jasmine were like having fun at intercontinental chongqing =O hahaha nv! you didnt see our huge living room & bedroom! & teh portrait in e bathrooms hahaha. but we didn do anything that night, kuz too tired =X) spent about two hours touring shopping centres. gab contacted collin so we were taking turns to reply his text msges while shopping around hahaha :D aunty jingyun recommended me a pair of super nice star earrings LOVE =P then after that at e second shopping centre mom&i checked into xinliang hotel opposite. (was super eeks luh, e first room had cockroaches, so mom changed room, but e taps werent working properly. so she wanted to change hotels but e tour group leader wouldn allow so we had to settle for room 1322 which was considerably cleaner, though smaller.) hahaha by e time we finished changing rooms e others had finished shopping so had to go to next destination, thanks to you three who bought e strange blue mint drink thing and fries! hahahaha :D & pistachios lol.

then went to silk&jade place. haha gab was trying to prevent granny from overspending, & mom was busy choosing silk blankets and wound up buying one w free gifts of bolsters and pillows =S jingyun & gab's granny bought shawls! :) hahaha helped aunty jingyun pick a checkered pink shawl. then e jade shop =X we werent touring around for veh long before accident happened! grace&amp;amp;pat&gab&i were apart from e group, staring aimlessly at slabs of jade stone. gab was like coming up from behind, then i turned around too fast& smashed into his head&specs. so his right lens completely broke into half =X and left a red patch on his face. hope to goodness his granny will nv find out. (err sorry gab! shall quote you - "i told my mom and you know what she said? tell me for what?" o_O whoa) &yes mom bought another jade bracelet, AGAIN. D:

hmm dinner was interesting - they served some apple cider, some kind of hard liquor anyways - 38% alcohol! pat was like telling us not to taste it but we didn listen (sorry pat!) so i took a sip. and promptly (&oncemore) turned a brilliant shade of jasmine's-shirt-hot-pink. then gabriel laughed ): after that had some nice chicken soup and pulau hitam! after dinner had to split up finally, kuz everyone else was going home already via china airlines, mom&i were going home next day via silkair. (coll&jul were bound to take CA back from guangzhou next day, and jasmine's only coming back next week from xiamen visiting relatives!) hahaha so took photos w aunty jingyun, gab&grace&pat then split up ): went for shopping and stuff, bought loads of things! (hahaha yep cool stuff yo. including a hat like e one chaegyung has!) &sweets for alena&yingming that are already sold in spore but nvm. some shirts and stuff, etc. and more earrings lol. hahaha then went back to hotel at about 10 or 11, super tired.

whee coll&i thought might meet up in changi airport since we were going back on e same day, but flight arrivals were like 2 hrs apart - until mae flight was delayed :) hahaha so arrived at 10.15 and shopped around till 11 (when coll's plane touched down) but i realised we were in separate terminals so yeah pwnage. phone batt died some more =X & immediately started roasting beneath layers of clothes ):

anyways all of us really miss chinaland trip now, ontop of nz, for mae! (oh& gabriel was in nz on 15 nov, day before we left, and he said he was shopping at e auckland warehouse, and thought he heard five girls screaming around hahaha hint! but auckland has more than one warehouse so dunno if its e same one, maybe it was, then itd be coincidence galore!) yep so "yangtze withdrawal symptoms" surfacing all over again hahahaha & alcohol deprivation. miss getting high on e cold windy deck now. ohwells okay superlong post byebye.
