so its seven more days to go. a very sexy seven. hopefully it also represents the prediction of each of the grades for our six IB subjects (: but well... realism much? (now what happened to the optimism so characteristic of the Sagittarius)
this is definitely the IB life. bits of paper tacked at random to the table lamp, or sticky notes on my desktop: some with EE or IOP ideas, most with homework by the tons, some with curses of horror and weariness, a couple with Bible verses to focus and prioritize each day.
we need God more than just a couple pieces of paper. am looking forward to the respite of sanctuary and breakfast/brunch (!) at Halia tomorrow morning. and just like the seniors said today during their Bible study: if you want BS, all the more we should have it next week. the closer the exams, the more we need our divine intervention (:
so proud and happy for the people in khon khaen right now... their service to the Lord in the form of English camps, spreading the love to those in homes, slums, etc. and praying constantly for each other, the teachers in charge, the children. yes the children! (: we're all keeping them in prayer. shoot, if only i went (but needed another girl to go, so yeah)
and if you want to know how my mid year preps have been? - - - DEAD. i study less than i eat (which is no mean feat). two weeks preceding the papers and i am found in cinemas, gym, park, shopping malls, hospital, St Pierre's (!)
pray for grandma and hope she'll get better. discharge tomorrow finally and i don't know if i can make it for class party now because because. dinner to celebrate her ... recovery of health? actually she ain't really 100% okay yet but she's so grumpy being shut in the ward, the doctor had to sign her out. LOL i don't ever wanna be that crabby when i'm old(er).
petrina liam thinks that i will never be able to drive/negotiate the roads successfully apparently. GRR PET! :D let's see me transport your kids around next time *wink*
