exams don't take the pensiveness out of someone, clearly.
but life talks back to you sometimes - rudely or otherwise
this day it spoke nicely, but rather too clearly - its not a bad thing :)
and so i came to a realization while reading siddhartha
sometime back (oh gosh, IB! really enters your life)
came to conclusions during time spent doing things i love
chilling on a deck chair in the cool evening breeze,
jasmine fragrances abound.
then there was BS in the form of colossians 3,
a stark reminder put out by mr allan lee :D to just
always remember that as Christians, its ultimately our responsibility
to always remember too that old sins are more potently lethal
than the new; that they could be more tempting than the new
and so we do away with that which bugs us
put into context: to forget old habits, to look to Christ for guidance
walk on a path appropriating His approval
mind our deeds, thoughts and actions in everything, anything :)
it took me 3 months to set life straight into order... almost
took 3 months to realize how inward-looking i was
took 3 months to realize how gossip destroys only if you let it get to you
took 3 months to learn how to put myself into the shoes of the other
took 3 months to discern how my own silly actions could hurt another
took 3 months to put things into perspective, trust in God
took 3 months to trust heart over mind and matter (think less, feel more)
took 3 months to feel really truly happy for once
took 3 months to truly recognize that sense of happy balance in time spent tgt
took 3 months to realize 3 months was way too long - all the time wasted
took 3 months to really grow up and be somewhat more mature
took 3 months to learn its between you God and tt only one who's special
took 3 months to take a good guess at exactly what we're looking for :)
fun discomfort awkward silence pain sheepish smile fun future
i miss _
its nearly october. what the chickens! ): still,
its 2:34 AM and i'll go off for QT - leaving:
proverbs 3:3 "Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck, write them
on the tablet of your heart."
:)
